Château Tourteau Chollet has obtained
“ Integrated Farming” certification

and has been awarded the
“Terra Vitis” label



delivered by the Chamber of Agriculture for the Gironde Region for the 2004 harvest


This award certifies that the holder adheres to national guidelines for preceding crops applicable to vines in accordance with specifications monitored through traceability and inspection audits. Our wines will bear this label as of the 2004 vintage.

Annual production: 180,000 Bottles

Cultivation area: 30 HA

Grape varieties: 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 45% Merlot

Maturing method: 18 Months in vats and casks

Best served with a gastronomic meal.

Château Tourteau Chollet 2003- AOC Graves Red
– 750 ml and 1,500 ml – magnum

“An extraordinary vintage for the Bordeaux region owing to exceptional climate conditions. The deep colour of this wine gives off hints of plum and toast. This powerful wine with tight tannins reveals a good balance. Frank attack. Its aromatic power is excellent: a real celebration of red fruits that ravishes your taste buds. A long and dense finish. This wine should be stored for several years before drinking to ensure the fullness of its complexity."

“This first vintage to have been matured in barrels offers a whole new personality from the Tourteau-Chollet estate. The colour of this wine is reminiscent of black cherries. The powerful nose of red fruits, spicy and lightly roasted, offers a wonderful structure upheld by the presence of tight and fine tannins. Silky-smooth on the palette. The aromas of ripe fruits and toast create a wonderful lingering aftertaste."

“This vintage benefited from extraordinary weather conditions, the Chollet 2003 is extremely dense in colour. The ruby red body colour foretells powerful and dense aromas. The bouquet is well-balanced on the palette. Notes of red fruits are elegantly enhanced by a pinprick of smoke which is typical of our soil. The tannins are elegant and well-rounded. At the finish, the lingering aromas are pushed to the forefront by the fineness of the well-ripened tannins.”
