“An extraordinary vintage
for the Bordeaux region owing to exceptional climate conditions.
The deep colour of this wine gives off hints of plum and toast.
This powerful wine with tight tannins reveals a good balance.
Frank attack. Its aromatic power is excellent: a real celebration
of red fruits that ravishes your taste buds. A long and dense
finish. This wine should be stored for several years before drinking
to ensure the fullness of its complexity."

“This first vintage to have
been matured in barrels offers a whole new personality from the
Tourteau-Chollet estate. The colour of this wine is reminiscent
of black cherries. The powerful nose of red fruits, spicy and
lightly roasted, offers a wonderful structure upheld by the presence
of tight and fine tannins. Silky-smooth on the palette. The aromas
of ripe fruits and toast create a wonderful lingering aftertaste."

“This vintage benefited from
extraordinary weather conditions, the Chollet 2003 is extremely
dense in colour. The ruby red body colour foretells powerful
and dense aromas. The bouquet is well-balanced on the palette.
Notes of red fruits are elegantly enhanced by a pinprick of smoke
which is typical of our soil. The tannins are elegant and well-rounded.
At the finish, the lingering aromas are pushed to the forefront
by the fineness of the well-ripened tannins.”
