This young estate (1993) was created by a passionate wine lover, Mr Pierre Ferrand. This man, originally from Bourges, privileged quality, excellency and purity of wine. To achieve that, he leaned on his team and on skilled professionals from the region. Rapidly rewarded, the Chateau Ferrand Lartigue entered the Cercle Rive Droite as soon as the association was created. Mr Pierre Ferrand retired from the world of wine in 2008 bestowing to the Vitisvintage group the destiny of its magnificent estate of 5 ha of hill and ancient sand . An exceptional terroir, that gives the Ferrand Lartigue wine a really great dimension in the purest tradition of Saint Emilion wines, with notes of moka and spices.
