This new year under the sign of “20” starts well for the group’s properties Vitisvintage. (Chateau Tourteau Chollet, Chateau Grand Lartigue and Chateau Ferrand Lartigue).

After being among the first to be certified Terra Vitis in 2005 and High Environmental Value (Niveau 3) since 2012, Vitisvintage has just been awarded the label Bee Friendly for its 2019 vintage.

This certification, equivalent level 2, consolidates the bases and the environmental requirements present in the genes of the group and its owner since the beginning of its creation.

Bee Friendly is the first european label to promote bee and pollinator friendly products.

Created in 2011, the label BEE FRIENDLY®
is developed, managed, and guaranteed by the BEE FRIENDLY association composed of three beekeeping organizations:
– the National Union of French Beekeeping (UNAF) for France,
– Unione Nazionale Associazioni Apicoltori Italiani (l’UNAAPI) for Italia,
– the DBIB – Deutscher Berufs und Erwerbsimkerbund e.V for Germany

The objective of the label BEE FRIENDLY®
is to foster the bee and pollinator friendly practices.
It is a question of sensitizing the producers and the companies manufacturing and distributing products of the daily life, with the major stake which represents the survival of the bee, environmental quality indicator, and to encourage them to put in place practices that have a positive impact on pollinators and their ecosystems.

By identifying bee-friendly products under this label, BEE FRIENDLY gives consumers the opportunity to promote agricultural practices and products that are in harmony with the well-being of pollinators.

Vitisvintage is pleased to continue its commitment to nature protection associations and remains vigilant as to the effect of its practices on the environment.
